Dear Valued Customers,
Please be advised that HP has put out a brand new firmware upgrade that will disable most of the chips that go into the 90X series and 95X series inks.
This means that if the customer's computer was set up to automatically accept firmware updates then their inks will likely not work today.
Our manufacturers in China are working diligently to find a solution for this issue and we will update you as soon as we know what it will be.
This will most likely take multiple days.
We must start to aggressively tell our customers that they need to turn off automatic firmware upgrades and to not accept them manually when they are sent. The only thing these firmware updates do is not allow the end user to save money by using compatible inkjet cartrides.
It is easy to do by just typing in "how to disable firmware updates for HP workforce (insert your printer model here)" in google.
Below you will find an example of this. It is very easy.
We will be implementing a policy of no returns for customers whose ink has already been installed.
This policy will begin November 1st. Furthermore, we will not be paying freight for the customers who refuse to turn off auto upgrades.
If customers want to get credit for unopened inks, we will issue a credit once the product has been returned. However, we will not pay for the freight.
